heaven square, earth round

Well, ain't this a geographical oddity!
heaven []
1... Heaven is a cube, the earth is a sphere.
2... Heaven is a sphere, so is the earth.
3... Earth is the proper domain of humans.
In ancient times, they thought that the heavens were round and the earth was square.  What is more real, the things above or the things we can see here and now?  I was talking with a new friend.  He tells me his people have things backwards, and don't realize that if there is more than meets the eye, then that life is more important that this current one, and only a fool would loose the eternal for the things that are passing.  We're not sure why more people don't see this, why they keep driving 90mph towards an unfinished bridge.  If they could see this, it wouldn't be due to our fancy arguments, but a movement of the waters where people are healed.  "But we're not sick," they say.  But who's missing the boat?  If they could only see, or dream, but Jacob's ladder is a dream for the elect.

Extra...1st Xtian in NJ Works at Apple Store

Uno...I used to write a lot of poetry.

Dos...I used to draw a lot of sketchings.

Tres...I used to play sports every day.

Left or Right Wing, Near or Far East,Up or Down Town, Lover or Po’ Boy.

Aims and guiding Sliding to suffer Another daily grind Coffee mug, bread

Smiles, sorrows, angst, That peculiar longing To fly, to lose touch...

Call me Ichabod, Call me anytime To guide and show The Way, the Truth,

The Life style Always wanted to Disjointed midnight mumbling A loving father if I can only

Dig through the center of this rock. But a bird doesn't dig...

Tweewt

Three, of course.  C'mon, how moody I am.  I was E-Mo before there ever was such.  Whatever, Not that emos can't play sports.  I bought a soccer ball today and had two offers to play basketball.  I can't weight for the gym to open, I brought my bag gloves, and jogged today, realizing the heart is also a muscle.  Joga, Bolivia!

shoot the moon 001
1... I have been to the moon.
2... I don't really like shopping with friends.
3... I don't really like shopping at all.
This one's easy. I much prefer sitting on a park bench watching two barges scooping pond scum while trying to tell the Truth to a total stranger in a twister of a tongue, than shopping, whether alone or with someone. I like to take my time and try to get the best deal, but with friends, I feel like I'm wasting time. Alone, I can get lost in the dizziness of decision making, and just wish they only made one type of the thing I'm after. Either way, I usually regret the purchase later, and would rather just live a simple life like A & E in the Garden. Silly shopping. And sorry for complaining. I'm really just mimicking the style of blog my friends tend to write. Moon!

Up, up, and The Way.

1st.. I love climbing trees, poles, rocks, mountains, building, fences, etc.
2nd.. I once fell out of a tree 20 feet, landed upright, but chipped my bottom front teeth.
3rd.. My friends and I once pulled down a telephone pole with kite string, then climbed it.

How can you tell who someone really is? Word tells us certain formula, which is helpful and trustworthy. Wind also lets us feel certain about people, and prompts us to question. Who are you, is a bold but basic inquiry, so might bring about a wrinkling of the lips, meaning, "I'm not sure how to respond." That is a understandable motive beneath the response, and correlates to the equally awkward question. "Who are you, really?" Today I climbed a pole. So did the two men with me. As we cling contrasted against sky, not earth, how do we seem to each other? Why did we climb the pole? It wasn't my impulse, I promise you. But the question rings in my soul regarding my today companions, "Who are you, really?" Their character is clear; all around is blur. Tomorrow I will ask one of them.

Language Corners of the World

1... Detecting a lie by hearing is easier than by reading.
2... It's hard to talk while eating peanut butter sandwiches.
3...  I know this language like the back of my hand.

Sleeping all day is so strange, like having lost money somewhere, or missed a turn, it feels like something valuable has gone astray.  Last night was good, though.  I went to "English Corner", that internationally renowned salon wherein are plumbed the deep concepts.  Our topical lesson described an American Indian in N.Y.C. who heard a cricket.  Nobody else heard it, but the clever chap demonstrated his moral point; people hear what they're listening for.  He dropped a handful of change on the sidewalk and every head within a block turned.  In class, the natives had trouble with the words cement and concrete.  I don't blame them.  And I can't understand first and fourth.  Also, it is much easier to define a foreign term using one's first language, rather than piecing the definition together with more foreign words.  I likely sound like a loose loon.

I'm nervous about beginning language study, oh yes.  It will be a challenge for me, years away from study halls and book shelves.  The last thing I learned was bus.  Before that, I learned how to manage high school students with visual aids and physical proximity.  But now, I must master the most misfitted tongue ever devised to bedevil the days of men.  Funny thing, too.  I live quite near the tallest tower in the province.  Here they can make a name for themselves and not be scattered throughout the earth.
Many are being scattered, and believe it or not, Ripley, many of these crazy characters have headed west to whoop it up in Tucacas.  I seen 'em!  So maybe in less than a decade I can go there too, talk up a storm and see what brews.  But for now, where them books at?

Bouncing Bumpy Bus (5x real fast)

Vacat 001
#1... So, happily riding a double decker bus, the driver let me sit in the seat and pull forward about 10 feet.  Exhilterating!
#2... The drive from the airport seemed much slower than the ride to it.
#3... We pulled over for McDonald's, where I befriended the luggage boy, though he refused my fries and burger.
I must say that other nations have remarkable ideas in governing a troublesome populace. Capacity doubled! Fuel economized! Fun times a'rollin'! The only scary issue is the speed limit. There is none. The only other scary issue is the gaping chasm and steep stairs between level 1 and level 2 (sounds like a dungeon battle video game). The only other additional scary issue... But scary issues aside, so much can be learned by incorporating old world styles with new world smiles. But that's someone else's job.  (numero uno es la mentira!)

That's a Lotta Watta, Lottie!

Water Water Everywhere, and not a drip to drink!
TheTourWaterCooler
Unless I can call the right number, say the right words, be there at the right time, and pay the correct amount. Plenty of empty water jugs, and fast friendly efficient service. Someone told me city life is easy - compared to country life. One day I might live in the country, but life is challenging enough without worrying about these basic necessities.
1...  The Flood was a local deluge.
2...  We're all related.
3...  Sin is real.
